Premier declares April as Insurance Brokers Month in Nova Scotia

HALIAX, NS - Premier Rodney MacDonald met with members of IBANS on Wednesday April 2, 2008 to sign a proclamation declaring April as Insurance Brokers Month in Nova Scotia.

Insurance Brokers Month is a series of events to raise public awareness of insurance brokers and the work they do. The broker's primary role is to work for the consumer. As licensed insurance professionals brokers provide unbiased advice and expertise, says Greg Roach, president of Insurance Brokers Association of Nova Scotia (IIIANS).
